Retail field operations as a calendar of stores, not as a photo dump

Retail field operations send people to stores they do not sit in: merchandisers, promoters, auditors, brand staff on a store list. The operational need is which store was visited, what assigned work happened, whether the field day started, and how that looks on a calendar. Timenox 360 records that field work. It is not a point-of-sale system, not planogram AI, and not the store’s own staff HRMS.

Store lists that live in a shared album

A merchandiser sends shelf photos to a group. A supervisor ticks a spreadsheet that does not match the photos’ timestamps. Nobody can see which planned store is still open on today’s calendar. Retail field failure is a gallery pretending to be a visit register, plus hours that never joined the store stop.

What a store-facing field day includes

Provisioned field employees check in. Each store stop is a customer or site visit depending on how you model the retailer. Tasks cover the work inside the store. Calendar holds the planned store sequence. Live visibility gives geographic context between stores. Reporting reviews recorded visits. Orders and collections apply if your field team actually captures them in store.

How store-facing work can be recorded

  1. 01Provision merchandisers or other store-facing field staff in the web app.
  2. 02Place planned store visits on the field calendar.
  3. 03Employees check in and execute visits on the mobile app.
  4. 04Assign in-store work as tasks rather than as captioned photos only.
  5. 05Use live field visibility as context between stores, not as a public tracker.
  6. 06Review the recorded store day in operational reporting.

Capabilities

  • Store visits as records

A stop at a store is operational work in the same product as attendance and tasks.

  • Calendar of locations

The intended store sequence is visible before the album fills up.

  • GPS field attendance

The field day has check-in and check-out, separate from the store’s own staff punch.

  • Assigned in-store work

Tasks hold what should happen inside the visit, not only that someone arrived.

  • Not POS

Checkout, inventory at the SKU system of record, and store rostering are not claimed here.

Who this page is for

Brand and retail operations people who send field staff to many stores. Store employees who only work inside one location are not the primary audience; office HRMS is Timenox if they never leave the workplace.

Retail field next to visits and calendar

Customer visits solution and visit management are the stop layer. Calendar is the store list as a schedule. Multi-location operations applies when many banners or regions each keep unofficial lists.

FAQ

Questions

Does this replace the store’s attendance for cashiers?

No. Timenox 360 is field workforce operations for people visiting stores. Office or in-store staff attendance belongs to Timenox if that is the workplace model.

Is this planogram or shelf-AI software?

No. This website describes visits, tasks, attendance, and reporting—not computer-vision merchandising.

Can merchandisers self-enroll?

No. Organizations provision employees. There is no public self-signup.

Can we record orders at a store visit?

Where that field workflow is used, orders and collections can be recorded. It is capture, not the retailer’s ERP.
