Live field workforce visibility attached to visits and tasks

Live field workforce visibility answers a practical question: where is field work happening, and what work is attached? Timenox 360 uses the mobile app to give operations geographic context during an active attendance session. Location updates may continue in the background until check-out, subject to device permissions. Organizations control that visibility. Timenox 360 is not marketed as 24/7 employee surveillance.

A pin on a map is not an operating picture

Tracking-only tools show movement. They do not tell operations whether the person at a coordinate is on a planned visit, mid-task, or between stops. Without visits and tasks beside location, managers still call or message to learn what the pin means. Live visibility in Timenox 360 is useful because it sits in the same product as the work, not because it watches people.

What live field visibility is

Field employees work in the Android or iOS app. Location supports GPS-enabled field operations. Operations sees field location in an operational view next to visits and assigned work. The purpose is coordination: who can take the next stop, whether a site visit is underway, and how the map relates to the calendar—not a public tracking feed.

How live visibility supports the field day

  1. 01The organization provisions employees and controls who can see operational location.
  2. 02Field employees use the mobile app during field work, with device location available for GPS-enabled operations.
  3. 03Location appears in the operations view as geographic context.
  4. 04Visits and tasks sit with that context so a pin is readable as work, not as a mystery coordinate.
  5. 05Attendance, calendar, and reporting remain in the same product so visibility is not a separate silo.

Capabilities

  • Operational map context

See field work in geographic context so visits and tasks stay connected to where they happen.

  • Work attached to location

Live visibility is meant to be read with customer visits, site visits, and assigned tasks.

  • Organization-controlled access

Organizations control operational visibility. It is not a public employee tracking page.

  • Same workforce as attendance

The people on the map are the provisioned field employees who also check in, visit, and complete tasks.

  • Not a surveillance product

Location is operational context. Timenox 360 is not marketed as employee surveillance software.

Who needs live field visibility

Operations coordinators and supervisors who currently ask “where is the team?” because chat status is stale. It is for organizations that already manage a field workforce, not for consumer location sharing.

Visibility next to the rest of the platform

Use this page when the intent is the product capability. If the pain is not knowing whether field teams are on the work they were assigned, see the field team visibility solution. Security explains how this site talks about location. Visit management and tasks are the work the map should sit beside.

FAQ

Questions

Is live field visibility employee surveillance?

No. Timenox 360 uses location as operational context for attendance, visits, tasks, and reporting. Organizations control that visibility. It is not marketed as surveillance software.

Does Timenox 360 track employees continuously in the background?

During an active attendance session that starts at check-in, location updates may continue in the background where device permissions and the operating system allow. Check-out ends that session. This is not 24/7 tracking. See the Privacy Policy.

Who can see live field location?

Organizations control operational visibility in the product. Field employees are provisioned by the organization; location is not a public feed.

Does a map replace visit and task records?

No. A map without visits and tasks is not field workforce management. Live visibility is designed to sit with that work.

See active field work in context during the attendance session.

Evaluate session-based visibility with visits and tasks attached, or talk with the team.
